After her studies in remedial pedagogy, Nele specialised in emotional development, family systems theory and non-duality. It is her personal characteristic to apply everything she learns on a deep level to her own life and context. As such she also became an experienced expert in these fields, whilst building a therapeutic practice for children and families. In her work she perceives the inter-relational dynamics between children, parents and other significant relatives and how these relate to the experienced challenges in daily life. Through children’s holidays, guidance and family constellation work, she efficiently guides children and their close network to experience more stability, insight, joy in life and learning.

Nele is also an Iyengar yoga teacher and an artist. On the yoga mat, as well as in her teachings, she is searching for balance between a masculine and feminine approach. Exercising discipline, alignment and undertaking the right actions whilst leaving enough space for mildness and the effects of the practice to reveal themselves spontaneously. Her artwork often has a link to her personal healing process and her search for new ways to connect with others on a deeper level. Staying true to her nature of pure freedom, she switches medium and language depending on the underlying message she wants to carry out. In line with her minimalistic lifestyle, she tries to leave nothing behind in this life other than inspiration, empowerment, connection and love.

My Life of Purpose

Inspired by my contribution to the Dabrowski Congress, I created a short film about my life in recent years. With "The Veil of Maya—Connecting Inside Out." I want to share what aspects of the Theory of Positive Disintegration can look like in real life. Central themes in the film are emotional development, spirituality, family systems theory, searching your own path in life. This art project is a collaboration with Michaël Van Overmeire (kamer tachtig).
